Safeguards required before launch
A story should never force a student to trade privacy for help. Identity and enrolment checks can happen privately while the public page shows only what the student has agreed to share.
- Informed consent that can be withdrawn
- No unnecessary ID documents, phone numbers or fee statements online
- Extra protection for anyone under 18
- A clear way to report, correct or remove a story
What a supporter should be able to follow
A live version should publish the request status, amount received, payment destination, remaining need and a dated outcome update. Evidence should confirm the result without turning hardship into entertainment.
